By downloading, installing, or using BrightBound Adventures ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
If you are a parent or guardian allowing a child to use the App, you agree to these terms on behalf of the child and accept responsibility for their use of the App.
BrightBound Adventures is an educational game application designed for children ages 4-12. The App provides interactive learning activities covering literacy, numeracy, logic, storytelling, and motor skills through gamified experiences.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You may NOT:
BrightBound Adventures is provided free of charge. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, or hidden costs. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but any existing free features will remain free.
The App may allow users to create content such as player profiles, avatar customisations, and story responses. This content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us. You retain ownership of any content you create.
All content in the App, including but not limited to graphics, characters, animations, sounds, music, text, and code, is owned by BrightBound Adventures or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
"BrightBound Adventures" and associated logos are trademarks. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data (spoiler: we don't collect any).
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BRIGHTBOUND ADVENTURES, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (which is $0).
While we strive to align our content with educational standards (including ACARA v9.0), the App is designed to supplement, not replace, formal education. We make no guarantees about educational outcomes or academic improvement.
BrightBound Adventures is designed for children ages 4-12. Children under 13 should only use the App with parental or guardian supervision and consent.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing notice through the App or website.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
